1.Explosion-proof walls should be made of non-combustible materials and should not be used as load-bearing walls. Their fire resistance limit should not be less than 4 hours.
2.Explosion-proof walls can be made of reinforced brick walls. When there are many production personnel or expensive equipment in adjacent rooms, it is advisable to use cast-in-place reinforced concrete walls.
3.The thickness of the reinforced brick wall should be determined by structural calculation, but should not be less than 240mm. The brick strength should not be lower than MU7.5, and the mortar strength should not be lower than M5.
Structural reinforcement: Along the height direction of the wall, 3Φ 6-10 full-length horizontal reinforcing bars should be arranged every 500mm. Both ends of these bars should be bound or welded to the pre-embedded reinforcing bars of the reinforced concrete frame or frame column. When the length and height of the brick wall exceed 6 meters, reinforced concrete intermediate columns and beams should be set up, and reinforcement should be provided according to the structure. The concrete strength grade should not be lower than C15, and its ends should be connected to the roof beams, frames and frame columns. The thickness of the reinforced concrete explosion-proof wall should not be less than 180mm, the concrete strength grade should not be less than C20, and the cross-sectional area of the reinforcing bars should be determined by structural calculation. It is not advisable to make or leave holes in explosion-proof walls. When process pipelines, cables, etc. must pass through, the hole should not exceed Φ200mm. Reinforcing steel bars should be provided around the hole, and the hole should be filled and sealed tightly.
